HE Tatang Budie Utama Razak
Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, Republic of Colombia

Tatang Budie Utama Razak born in April 7, 1962. He graduated from the International Relations department at Padjadjaran University. He began his diplomatic career in 1992, initially serving as the head of foreign policy at the Indonesian Embassy in Paris, France. He was also assigned as the Permanent Representative of Indonesia to the United Nations in New York City, overseeing the information department under the Middle East Affairs and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). In 2006, he was appointed Deputy Ambassador at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In 2010, he became the Director for the Protection of Indonesian Citizens and Indonesian Legal Entities at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In 2014, he was appointed Indonesian Ambassador to Kuwait. In 2018, he was appointed as the Chief Secretary of BNP2TKI. On October 25, 2021, he was sworn in as the Indonesian Ambassador to Colombia, concurrently serving Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, and Saint Kitts and Nevis, by President Joko Widodo

María Susana Muhamad
Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of Colombia, Colombia

María Susana Muhamad González born in April 21, 1977. She is a Colombian political scientist, environmentalist and politician belonging to the Colombia Humana party. Since August 7, 2022, she has held the position of Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development of her country, in the government of Gustavo Petro. She is a nationally and internationally recognized environmentalist. She was the Former Director for Climate Action Planning for Latin America in C40 director. Her work focuses on developing actions that allow Colombia to consolidate as a world power of life, through compliance with international agreements on climate change and loss of biodiversity, the protection of environmental defenders, and the fight against deforestation in the Amazon region

Carlos Fernando Galan
Mayor of Bogota, Colombia

Carlos Fernando Galán Pachón is a Colombian politician and journalist. He has been a Bogotá Councilor and a Senator of the Republic of Colombia, a position he resigned after resigning from the Radical Change Party due to ideological differences, the main of them, the support that his party decided to give Iván Duque for the 2018 presidential elections. He is the current Mayor of Bogotá following the 2023 regional elections. He graduated from Georgetown University as a Foreign Service Professional with an emphasis in International Economics. He is a Specialist in Government, Management and Public Affairs from the Externado de Colombia University, and has yet to complete postgraduate studies in International Affairs at Columbia University. He was a correspondent for Semana Magazine in Washington, editor of the Cambio Magazine and Political Editor of El Tiempo, where he was part of the team that in 2007 won the National Journalism Award from the Círculo de Periodistas de Bogotá for investigations into parapolitics

Riri Fitri Sari is a Professor of Computer Engineering at the Electrical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, University of Indonesia (UI). She graduated with a BSc in Electrical Engineering from UI. She gained a master’s in human resources management from the Atmajaya University Jakarta. Subsequently she completed her MSc degree in Software Systems and Parallel Processing from the Department of Computer Science, University of Sheffield, UK, funded by British Council Chevening Award. She holds a PhD in Computer Networks from the School of Computing, University of Leeds, UK. Her PhD research was on Active Networks-based Congestion Control Protocols. Since April 2010, she has been the Chairperson of UI GreenMetric Ranking of World Universities, a flagship program of the University of Indonesia to rank university worldwide based on their green campus and sustainability programs. Prof Riri Fitri Sari has also received an Honorary Professorship from Kazakh National Agrarian University (KAZNAU) in 2017 and many other research and lifetime achievement awards

Diploma in senior management in health from the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota. He is the Vice-Rector at the University of Rosario from February 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences from January 2015 to January 2024. His dedication to academic leadership and excellence is further highlighted by his previous roles as a Special Advisor to the Rectorate from September 2008 to January 2015

Her diverse skill set includes research and development, strategic planning, clinical research, teaching, and higher education. She is the first female and non-medical rectora at Universidad El Bosque, has played a pivotal role in expanding and consolidating the institution, extending its reach into other areas of knowledge. Her leadership has contributed to the university’s increased international and sectorial visibility, as evidenced by her active participation in various academic and educational organizations. With a background as an odontologist and previous roles as dean and vice-rector at Universidad El Bosque, she continues to make significant strides in shaping the future of education in Colombia

Luis Fernando Múnera Congote, S.J. is the Rector at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He holds degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical Javeriana University, Bachelor of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy from the Sèvres Center in Paris. He was dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and International Relations; advisor to the academic vice-rector; and co-director of the University Planning Program on Peace and Reconciliation, he also served as associate professor of the Javeriana Faculty of Philosophy, where he held the position of career director. At the Javeriana Cali section he worked in the area of social training and coordinated the Specialization in Ethics and Values, where he also served as a professor of Ethics, Politics and Philosophy. Between 2001 and 2003, he was executive director of the Peace Program of the Society of Jesus in Colombia and has worked in the formation of the country’s Jesuits. He was part of the Javeriana Council of Regents, between August 2012 and November 2019

Diego Hernández Lozada is the Rector at Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. He holds Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineer from the National University of Colombia; Master of Business Administration from the University of Valle; Master’s in Economics from Pontifical Javeriana University; Master of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois; Doctor of Economic Sciences from the National University of Colombia, and currently a doctoral student in Education at the University of Illinois. In his professional experience, he stands out for having been the first Vice Minister of Knowledge, Innovation, and Productivity at the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation, and having served as Director General of the Administrative Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation. He has also served as Vice Chancellor of the National University of Colombia and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the same institution. As part of his professional performance in the field of engineering, he was recognized in 2010 with the Julio Garavito Merit Order by the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia. He has experience in the financial sector, where he served as departmental director and regional deputy manager of the Southwest at Banco AVVillas.

Dolly Montoya Castaño

Dolly Montoya Castaño is a Colombian university professor and scientist, currently serving as the rector of the National University of Colombia. She was re-elected for the period 2021–2024, having previously held the position from 2018 to 2021, becoming the first woman to do so. Alongside her administrative duties, she has been dedicated to promoting academic research for vulnerable communities in Colombia, notably directing the Institute of Biotechnology (Instituto de Biotecnología, IBUN) from 1987 to 1995. She holds a pharmaceutical chemistry degree from the National University of Colombia (1977), a master’s degree in basic biomedical sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and a Ph.D. in natural sciences from the Technical University of Munich. Her thesis, “Anaerobic, Solvent-Producing Bacteria: Molecular Characterisation, Polysaccharolytic Activity and Agro-Industrial Waste Degradation,” was recognized with magna cum laude. Throughout her career, she has earned various awards for her academic and scientific contributions, including the “Medalla al Mejor Desempeño Académico Gabino Barreda” from the Autonomous University of Mexico (1983), Woman of Success in Colombia (2010), Prize for Scientific Merit (“Samper Martinez” award) from the National Institute of Health (2017), and the decoration Order Cross of the Founders, granted by the Mayor of Pereira (2018). Junaidi is a Vice-Chair of UI GreenMetric and a Linguistic and Cultural Studies Lecturer at the English Department, Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Indonesia (UI). He holds degrees from English Department, UI and Warwick University, UK. He was a Ph.D. in Linguistics at UI. Since 2015 he has been an expert member of UI GreenMetric and founder of UI GreenMetric Network in 2016. In 2021 he was the founder of the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards, a new initiative of MoECRT to send undergraduate students to study one semester at top universities around the world.

Prof. Tadeu Fabricio Malheiros holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1991), a degree in Environmental Engineering from the Faculty of Health Sciences of USP (1993), a Master’s degree in Resources Engineering from Universitat Karlsruhe (1996), a Ph.D. in Public Health from the University of São Paulo (2002), and a postdoctoral degree in Public Health from the Faculty of Public Health – USP (2006). Currently, he is an associate professor at the School of Engineering in São Carlos at the University of São Paulo. He participated in the creation and coordinates the Network of the Professional Master’s Program in National Network for Teaching Environmental Sciences. He serves as an advisor to the Environmental Management Superintendence at USP. He is the Coordinator of the Thematic Axis – Education within the framework of the 11 Thematic Axes program at USP. Additionally, he is the Coordinator of the Technical Chamber for Integration and Dissemination of Research and Technologies (CT-ID) of the PCJ Committees. With expertise in Environmental Engineering, focusing on Environmental Health and Sustainability, his research interests include sustainability indicators, sustainable development, environment, public health, solid waste, and environmental management.

She serves as the Coordinator of the Green Office UPF and the Graduate Program in Civil and Environmental Engineering UPF. With a postdoctoral degree from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (2014), she is recognized as an expert in sustainability. Dr. Brandli holds key editorial roles, serving as the Deputy Editor of the Int. J. Sustainability in Higher Education and Discovery Sustainability. Additionally, she contributes to important publications such as the Encyclopedia of Sustainability and Higher Education and the Encyclopedia of Sustainable Development Goals: Transforming the World We Want. He currently serves as the Sustainability Coordinator at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (Ecuador), where he is also a researcher and professor in the Mechanical Engineering program. He specializes in biomass transformation into energy, fuels, and chemicals. His research interests encompass sustainability, biochar production and applications, energy management systems, renewable energy resources, and the valorization of organic waste through pyrolysis. He has also worked on the design of unmanned aerial vehicles, dirigibles, and fixed-wing aircraft, advising the Ecuadorian Air Force. Additionally, he co-founded the company Advanced Renewable Technology International Inc., dedicated to biochar production

Since 2015, he has been leading the Environmental Management System at the university.
