Summary

This meeting is the 7th meeting of UI GreenMetric World University Rankings Network, with attendance from the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings Secretariat and national coordinators from Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, France, Hungary, Indonesia, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss activities in each country and agree on 2023 activities, and other matters related to the network.

With the participation of national coordinators, this meeting will open the floor to important questions related to the roles of universities in global sustainability issues and aims to encourage universities worldwide to collaborate and learn from each other in dealing with sustainability issues.

Attended by prominent experts, rectors, deans, senior representatives, academics, and UI GreenMetric secretariat, the areas for discussion include:

+ What works are currently underway to implement a strategic network in each member country?

+ What works need to be done to implement strategic frameworks?

+ How can we work together in UI GreenMetric World University Rankings network?
